Zanesville & Western Scenic Railroad Train Robbery
September 24 & 25, 2022
The Zanesville & Western Scenic Railroad will once again sponsor a train robbery weekend. The new show will be performed Sept. 24 and 25 at noon-1-2-3-4 on the hour. Tickets are available at www.zwsr.org or by calling (614) 595-9701. The train is located at 5700 SR 204, Mt. Perry OH 43760.
Written and directed by Betsy A. Martin, proceeds from the show’s royalties will be donated to three charities: the Opera House Players, Buckle Down 4-H, and the PC Calvary Arts Center. This show is family friendly with real horses, and the passengers receive a reward for assisting with capturing the robbers.
The characters include: Dave Neal (Conductor Smith), Katie Carpenter (Maybelle Lee), Scott Pfettscher (Sheriff Wesson), Sabrina Ponting (Mable Burrow), Toni Harper (Annabelle Lee), David Adair (Ricky E. Lee), Jane Beattie (Laura Soup), Mark Chickwak (train engineer), Jeff McGee (Reno Rupe), Eric Newlon (Cole Curry), and Dane Gordon (robber).
