(Wednesday, November 2, 2022) - The Governor’s Office of Appalachia today launched applications for the Appalachian Community Grant Program to fund sustainable, transformative change in the 32-county Appalachian region. The application and program details can be found on the program webpage.

The Governor’s Office of Appalachia today launched applications for the Appalachian Community Grant Program to fund sustainable, transformative change in the 32-county Appalachian region.

$250,000 per county is available for Appalachian Technical Assistance Grants, to assist applicants with costs associated with the planning and design of projects. Appalachian Technical Assistance Grants will only be available in Round 1.
Up to $50 million is available in Round 1 for Appalachian Development Grants. Projects applying for Appalachian Development Grants must be shovel-ready within 90 days of receipt of funds.
Round 1 applications are due December 9 at 5:00 p.m.
