The Perry County Calvary Arts Center will hold their annual summer showcase and art auction on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM. The PCCAC is located at 447 S. Main St. in New Lexington. If you have artwork to donate, please drop it off at Ogden’s Insurance on Main Street in New Lexington. “This is one of our major fundraisers, and we are hoping for a big turnout of bidders” says Board member Betsy A. Martin.
The PCCAC sponsored five weeks of youth summer arts workshops, and students will showcase their work. There will also be free food and beverages.
This year we will feature the works of two renown former artists from Perry County: Ron Mills and Tom Wolfe. We also have a framed double signed work by Leslie Cope valued at $600.00. We hope to have some pieces by the Somerset Artist Co-op and Rendville Artworks. There will also be a silent auction of a variety of items.
PCCAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that promotes the cultural arts in Perry County. PCCAC has over 50 members, and we welcome new members and artists. They sponsor a public arts event the first Sunday of each month. Thank you in advance for supporting this event and arts in Perry County.
