Life Side Ohio Comes to SE Ohio | Tuesday, October 10, 2023

Please join us on October 10th at 5:30pm (doors open at 5:15pm) at Athens Community Center for dinner and an enriching and possibly life-saving discussion about lethal means safety, mental health, and suicide prevention for firearms owners.

Life Side Ohio is the ONLY statewide campaign largely by firearms owners for firearms owners dedicated to outreach in three communities: veterans, firearms retailers, and public safety (police, fire, and first responders). The Athens event will be our fourth of 2023 as we've brought together firearms owners, hunters, outdoors enthusiasts, clinicians, retailers, mental health advocates, non-profits, and many more people to share their insights and experience for one goal - to save lives.

It's also important for advocates, doctors, and clinicians to have a deeper understanding of gun culture so we'll have guest speakers including

Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation executive and avid hunter, Daniel Bennett, and Black Wing Shooting Center executive, Joe King.
