This plan is the Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for Perry County Ohio. The plan was initially developed in 2014, expiring 12-31-2021. The Current plan covers period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2026. Transportation is a critical component of the communities in Perry County. Transportation provides access to jobs, education, healthcare, human services and allows all community members, including older adults and people with disabilities, to live independently and engage in community life.

NEW LEXINGTON — For a young resident at the Perry Multi-County Juvenile Facility, his 21st birthday would mark the necessary end of his stay. The facility itself just turned 21 last month, and county Juvenile Judge Luann Cooperrider, who acted as its project coordinator, wants the public to know about the good work it has been doing all those years for male juvenile offenders, and for the surrounding community as well.

The Village of Roseville Receives $187,300 State Grant for Critical Water Infrastructure Upgrades. Today’s award will support the Village of Roseville with water system upgrades by providing a 6" CR900 DR18 high pressure distribution line from Muskingum County Water and tie in on Ransbottom Rd. This would eliminate booster stations for Rose Hill Rd, Tad Dr and Twp Rd 71A and/or needs for back-up generators. This line would provide approximately 155 PSI to all three points and allow for future development if the need was to arise to support surrounding areas.
